Members in our research lab, the Advanced Information Retrieval Applications Lab (AIRA), are currently pursuing research projects in the following two areas:

• Personalized teen book recommendation integrating users' preferences, emotions, and STEM interests, and

• Contextual document discovery through LLM-guided query decomposition and retrieval
