Setting up PVM

• Create the directory $HOME/pvm3

• Create the directory $HOME/pvm3/bin/HPPA

• Link $HOME/pvm3/lib to ~snell/pvm3/lib

• Set the environment variable PVM_ROOT to $HOME/pvm3

  • Do this in your login script

• Set up your .rhosts file

• Add $HOME/pvm3/lib/HPPA to your path
